EDEX Year 2009 Classes

Edu Excel tuition will start from 3rd January onwards.
The classes are conducted as per the published time table.
For standard 1 to 3, the classes are conducted as below:

Saturday: 5pm to 7pm
Sunday : 9am to 11am

Registrations for all classes are still opened and conducted by daily basis based upon appoinment and during weekends by walk-in.

Register as soon as possible as the places are limited.

Free Preparation Classes

Edu Excel will be organising Free Preparation Classes during this school holidays. Our classes are design to encourage student to learn how to learn. We will equip the students with the relevant learning/ study skills such as speed reading, memorising techniques to ensure they have a leap start when the school commence in January.

The classes are conducted every Saturdays & Sundays from 9am to 12noon.

Mind Mapping Workshop - Note Taking & Note Making

Mind Mapping adalah alat atau kaedah pembelajaran yang terbaik yang akan pasti membantu meningkatkan prestasi pelajar-pelajar. Mind Map akan dapat membantu pemahaman serta mebantu pelajar untuk menghafal. Workshop satu hari ini akan mendedahkan kepada pelajar apa itu mind map dan kaedah untuk menggunakan mind map untuk mengambil serta membuat nota. (Note taking & note Making)

Seminar Mind Mapping

8 November 2008, Komtar-Penang: Engr Mohamad Abu Huzaifah, salah seorang tenaga pengajar Edu Excel Tuition Centre telah dijemput untuk menjalankan seminar motivasi dibawah tajuk mind mapping oleh Persatuan Liga Muslim. Program ini dihadiri hampir 200 pelajar daripada beberapa sekolah-sekolah disekitar Pulau Pinang.

EDU EXCEL Tuition Centre (formerly known as Amali Tution Centre) located at the vicinty of Gelugor.
Offering tuition classes for primary and secondary school students, EDEX advantage of using the learning how to learn method is sure to give an impact to each and every students.

Learning the HOW is as important as learning the WHAT. Learning how to learn will boost the understanding of what is being learnt. If a student is just being exposed of what he should be studying without guiding him how to study, the student will have tough time trying to understand, memorise and also to recall during exams.

Often students have problems digesting what being taught to themin school. This is due to their lack of knowledge of knowing how to learn.

In EDU EXCEL students are taught how to learn using various latest methods of learning such as mind mapping. These skills will give the students the advantage of understanding, memorising and recalling the subjects learned.

Our current teaching method in schools emphasizes the left brain thinking have imposed a limitation to the unlimited capability of our brain. We in EDU EXCEL uses various methods which stimulates whole brain thinking that can increase the capability of a student.

1. Free computer & internet access at the centre. (The access is strictly for educational purpose only)

2. Free Library services at the centre. Our mini-library equipped with revision books, latest educational magazines and many other educational materials.

3. Free educational counselling.

Edu Excel Services

Pioneering the "learning how to learn" concept in tuition, we offer these various services addressing the needs of parents:

1. Special tuition classes for Standard 4 to 6 and Form 1 to 5.

2. Personal coaching classes. This class will address the need for the slow learner students whereby our teachers will give full attention to the needs of the particular student.

3. Daily homework coaching. For the busy parents, we can lend you a hand by giving daily coaching session for the students to do their homeworks.

4. Motivational seminars. Our teachers are well trained trainers, able to conduct motivational seminars covering topics ranging from study technics, exam preparation, mind mapping to parenting skills.

Teachers Profile

Engr. Mohamad Abu Huzaifah bin Magbool holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai- Johor. He graduated in 2001 and joined a public listed company as a Mechanical Engineer.

As for his interest in educational field, he has been actively participating in giving motivational talks and seminars for school children as well as university students. He is a certified trainer and also holds a certificate in Tony Buzan’s mind mapping.

Natisya Binti Itayatulla graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Hons). She has experience working in an audit firm as an auditor. She then gained her experience and expertise in education while teaching in a secondary school as a Mathematics and English teacher.

Ms Monira Itayatulla holds a Bachelor of English Language and Literature degree from International Islamic University Malaysia. She is currently a lecturer at private college in Penang and is a former school teacher. Monira has translated a variety of works and she was also a facilitator for school programs such as English Camps which were held at many different schools. In addition, she actively participated in various social works and helped in programs for orphaned children as well as people who are HIV positive and she was also a volunteer for International Language Conference Kuala Lumpur ’08. Some of her interpersonal traits include being friendly and resourceful as she can converse easily with anyone and is mentally equipped to handle any challenge that comes her way. Furthermore, Monira is hard-working and is an optimist who tries to make the best of any situation she is in.
